Starting my MBA in Sustainable Business and Green Development

Green MBA from Marylhurst University

The Green MBA from Marylhurst University prepares students for a sustainable future.

As the new year begins, I am finally beginning my journey as an MBA candidate, which has been a bucket list item for more than a decade. Following my graduation from the University of Central Florida, where I earned my Bachelors in Marketing, I focused on developing a strong professional profile without giving the idea of going back to school much thought.  However, after launching my own business in 2008 and taking control of my schedule, it wasn’t long until I finally revisited the idea of earning my MBA.

Now that I am in my second week in the distance learning MBA program from Marylhurst University, I am realizing of the need to be even more organized than before since the online format demands as much time, if not more, than my undergraduate studies at UCF. Case in point, this time around there are no beer parties, no pizza runs and no libraries where I can be told to “keep it quiet”. This time, the burden is on me to prove that I can do it despite a hectic life. And to be perfectly honest, I am loving every single day as I connect to my professor, classmates and the intense accelerated curriculum.

If you are considering an online-based program, be sure to take a look at Marylhurst University’s MBA and explore the opportunity that this amazing academic institution has to offer. That said, you can learn more about the Green MBA I am pursuing at http://www.marylhurst.edu/greenmba/.
